Four Seasons of Love

어느 해금 연주자 그리고, 사랑의 감정을 계절에 따라 그려낸 연주 앨범 [Four Seasons of Love] 연인을 향해 느낄 수 있는 설렘, 기쁨, 슬픔 그리고 그리움의 감정을 봄, 여름, 가을, 겨울의 사계절에 빗대어 표현하였다. 음악적 한계를 넘어 새로운 시도를 펼치는 연주자 이상현은 해금의 음색을 통해 많은 이들에게 사랑의 메시지를 전하고자 한다. 1. 조막꽃 사랑의 시작, 설렘 연인을 처음 만났을 때의 순수한 모습을 ‘조막만 한 작은 꽃’에 비유하여 봄의 감성으로 그려내었다. 스윙재즈에 어울리는 해금의 멜로디로 인하여 듣는 이에게 행복감을 전해준다. 2. 숲속에서 사랑하는 이와 함께하는 기쁨 연인의 손을 잡고 숲속을 거니는 모습을 통통 튀는 밴드 사운드로 표현하였다. 음악을 이끌어가는 기타와 즐거움을 나타내는 해금이 사랑하는 이들의 모습을 떠오르게 한다. 3. 가루비 사랑의 끝, 시린 슬픔 스트링 콰르텟의 음색은 마음속 깊이 남아있는 옛 연인의 모습을 여지없이 그려내었다. 이와 대조되는 해금의 멜로디는 ‘이별’이라는 감정에 설득력을 더하였다. 4. 달빛에 너를 비추다 헤어진 이에 대한 그리움 더 이상 볼 수 없는 연인을 회상하는 모습을 화려한 오케스트라로 표현하였다. 겨울밤 속에 감춰진 애달픔을 해금의 음색으로 풀어내어 완성된 음악을 들려주고자 한다. Sang Hyun Lee, who continuously makes new trials and challenges beyond the limitation of music approaches people with a message of love through her matchless tone color of Haegeum. 1. A tiny tender flower The beginning of love, the indescribable flutter The musician depicts a sensibility of springtime, by comparing the innocence of encountering your beloved one for the first time to a “tiny tender flower”. The melodies of Haegeum reminiscent of swing jazz convey delight and happiness to the audience. 2. In the forest Joy of being together with your love The vivacious band sound expresses the moment when you walk around the forest holding the hand of your loved one. The guitar tunes leading the music in harmony with the scent of Haegeum speaking the language of joy will remind you of your beloved one. 3. Drizzle The end of love, the heart-aching sadness The string quartet's timbre fully describes the image of an old love that is present deep in your heart. Haegeum, along with contrasting melodies, softly enhances the feeling of “separation.” 4. Shine on you in the moonlight Nostalgic longing for the past love The splendid orchestra expresses the moment of reminiscing about the love unable to return. The musician wishes to invite the audience to the zenith of music, by touching deep sorrows hidden in the winter night through the heartfelt tunes of Haegeum.
